7 Deadly Sins Ink from Diamine

A few weeks ago, I'd ordered my Diamine Inkvent Calendar from Cult Pens on pre-order. It finally shipped and was supposed to come last Tuesday, however, the courier company who was supposed to do the last leg of the delivery here in Ireland went into recievership that very same day. It made the news here and everything. There's a lot of weirdness around it, and the news outlets know much more about what's going on than I do.
For me, though, it meant emailing the company that was handling questions about people's deliveries and getting a completely useless email back. It basically said "contact the company that shipped stuff to you, we can't do anything about your package" in legalese.
So I contacted Cult Pens, and they were really nice about it. They offered me a refund and suggested that I re-order the Inkvent calendar and use expedited shipping to ensure it got to me.
I did just that, but also added in this ink set with my order. (I know it's a bit past Halloween, but hey, I just got it today!) Even though it's got that biblical spooky rawr to it, the inks themselves are really spectacular. I especially like Envy and Wrath. Interestingly, I looked up the descriptions again, and Envy doesn't have a sheen, technically, it's actually a dark red shimmer, which makes it look really cool. They don't mention it on the website, but Wrath has a sheen and shimmer, and is a nice deep red. As usual, the pictures really don't do the inks justice.
I do recommend these if you like shimmers and deep, saturated inks. A solid 9/10 from me!
(Oh, and I blame my friend Carmen for this-- she's the one who pointed out this set to me...)
I will be posting the inks for this year's Inkvent calendar starting December 1st, and I was thinking this year I'll mix writing with some doodling and painting. I've heard the colors are really interesting in this edition, and I look forward to sharing them with you all!
