Fountain Pen Thoughts - 1/3/25

This is a new @benupen called "Skull and Roses Crow." Very fitting for me as I love crows and even have a crow tattoo on my left shoulder. This pen is happy-making.

I have a number of crows out in my backyard. Over New Year's, I was doing dishes and a crow came up to the fence closest to the kitchen window and it looked right at me and stayed there for nearly a full minute. It was a beautiful moment.

I sometimes leave them treats and offerings, and they stay in the yard most of the day. The don't "caw" the same here, either.

Life is back from the liminal space that is Christmas and New Year's. Let's hope things move a bit more swiftly for my visa now!
