Now on to other things--

I just want to remind people that you don't have to read All The Things on social media. Not keeping up with news stories, or the latest disaster or war, or any of that kind of thing doesn't make you a bad person. It doesn't mean you don't care. The human mind can only take so much at any given time.

I read somewhere that we aren't really meant, as humans, to multi-task as much as we do.

We. Are. Allowed. To. Rest.

We are allowed to take breaks.

We are allowed to check out if we need to.
