Nibtober Day 12

#nibtober2024
The one thing about living in warm climates is that you don’t get real change of the leaves.
I grew up in New Hampshire, and Fall has always been my favorite time of year. As I’ve gotten older, it’s also because of Samhain/Halloween time. It’s the time of communing with and honoring our ancestors.
My ancestors are the ones who made it possible for me to be in this time and place, so I am proud to honor those who lifted up the family. Even the ancestors I didn’t like, and don’t talk to, had their place in my history and I acknowledge that.
