Playing Card Oracle Deck -- Week 2.5
So, this took a bit longer to post since I was waiting for some Posca paint pens and Gel Pens to finish some of the cards before I posted them. What I wasn't expecting was the late arrival of the gel pens. But now, the cards I wanted the pens for look much better! Enjoy!

4 of Spades
Generalized meaning: clarity, subconscious, resignation
Thinking about clarity, I thought of a mirror, which can tell us hard truths. Although, in this image, the hand of the subconscious is showing, which wants to pull you back. You can either be resigned to its existance of draw back in fear.

5 of Clubs
Generalized meaning: disharmony, competition, experimentation
The center club is being shocked by the others. Is it a punishment or an experiment? Sometimes you can't tell.

6 of Clubs
Generalized meaning: creativity, victory, expectations
Yellow is joyful, and each club has different art on them in gold, glitter, and bright yellow. They can be medals of victory, but also different versions of the same working. Each is a victory on their own.

7 of Spades
Generalized meaning: inner preparedness, sharing knowledge, subterfuge
The card is upside down, and the center spade is giving knowledge to the person below. It is sacred knowledge that expands the consciousness, or is it knowledge that can cause harm? Only the person knows.

8 of Hearts
Generalized meaning: compassion, empathy, change of direction, hard choice
The white figure is holding their heart in their outstretched hand. The black figure is embracing their heart and holding it close. Both are showing compassion and empathy, and it is a choice on which form one's compassion and empathy can take.

10 of Hearts
Generalized meaning: love, fulfillment, family, joy, closure
Fireworks have always been a source of joy and wonder to me. The brightness coming out of the dark sky, the surprise of the colors, and when they're done, you have a memory that was shared with others. Fireworks are also used to signal the end of something successful: a holiday, a task, an event, or a holy time, or closure.

Jack of Hearts
Generalized meaning: falls in love easily, romantic, chatterbox
The Jack of Hearts is my romantic person, in love with the idea of love. All glitter and roses, hearts and flowers. There is an edge, as the axe is present, but over all, love is love. Sometimes it moves on from the Jack of Hearts to something more, and sometimes it's just glitter.

Joker (1 of 2)
Generalized meaning: the fool, potential
For the first joker, I decided to show him surrounded by a rainbow, as if he was riding through it. He's not sure exactly what he's riding through, but it's bright, and new, and full of light.

King of Diamonds
Generalized meaning: self made, encouraging, enjoys fruits of labors, jolly, outsized power of wealth
This card took a bit of doing for me, and it was technically that card that held up this post, since I wanted to add something more to it, but didn't have the right pens for it. But, overall, this shows the Green Man: He's happy, he's content, and wants you to be happy, too!

King of Hearts
Generalized meaning: wise, diplomatic, calm, letting go
This king wants to open your mind, so you find the flow and navigate the deep waters safely. But you also have to figure out when to let that flow go and come back up to the surface, because you don't want to drown in the deep.
