Playing Card Oracle Deck -- Week 4

Getting closer to done! Enjoy!

2 of Clubs

Generalized meaning: planning, developing abilities.

To be honest, I mixed up the generalized meaning of this card with the Ace of Spades. I suppose this just makes it's a very human deck, right?

But, it still does connotate change and development, even if it's the wrong colors, so we'll go with it.

3 of Diamonds

Generalized meaning: improving skills, investment, teamwork

The farmers have grown plants with their time, investment, and teamwork. Now they can reap what they have sown and feed themselves and their families.

4 of Diamonds

Generalized meanings: trust, secrets, finance, health, guarding resources

The person in this card is guarding secrets and resources. Not my best art, and it was a hard one for me to think of a good picture for. Honestly, I'm finding some of the Diamonds more difficult than the other suits.

6 of Diamonds

Generalized meaning: charity, giving/receiving, comfort

Laying out in the grass and watching the clouds has always been a time when I've felt comofortable and been in a comfortable place.

6 of Spades

Generalized meaning: travel, new direction, knowledge

The person traveling along a road where there's new knowledge for them to pick up. They can move ahead or decide to move back. The journey is up to them.

9 of Diamonds

Generalized meaning: ending project, gaining independence

The person has reached the gates at the end of the road and sees the shining diamond of knowledge as they go through. They now can use that knowledge without fear.

10 of Spades

Generalized meaning: giving up, compromise, releasing old ideas

This artwork is my most favorite art in the deck so far. You can see it as the 10 of Swords, where the person is getting pummeled by the spades and giving up their life. Or you can see it as the person releasing old ideas to the Void that no longer work for them. Either way, it's always a difficult process.
