A summer of stories...

The days are super long now and I've realized it's been a while since I've posted a newsletter!

The biggest news is that I'm back to streaming on Twitch on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 14:00 Ireland time (0900 Eastern US/ 0600 Pacific US) and reading live! The readings happen in the second hour, usually after 1 or 2 writing sprints.

On Tuesdays I read the 5th book in my Survey series, Nemetona. Since I don't have the option for eBooks at the moment, I decided to go ahead and start recording the podcast version of it. You can go to the Tales from Flat Space page to listen and for links.

On Thursdays, I read short stories for my new podcast called The Spencerverse. Many of the stories in the current season are the final, edited versions of the stories I wrote for Lent or expanded versions of those stories. I'm also going to re-record some of my older short stories that I did in the early episodes of Tales from Flat Space. These stories will primarily be scifi and speculative fiction, but I'll also be including paranormal fantasy and other genres. You can go to The Spencerverse page to listen and for links.

If you can't catch the live readings, don't worry: both of these podcasts are available via your favorite podcast app and YouTube. The podcast versions come out a week after the live reading.

You'll also notice I've done a bit of a reorganization of my website. Part of that is because of some back end issues which meant I had to change my theme. The other part is that I'm kind of nerdy and tend to reorganize my web presence from time to time.

I'm really enjoying reading to you all again, especially now that I've had vocal training and am able to do voices better. While I'm really proud of all the recordings I've put out so far, I think Best Served Cold really shows how far I've come with my voice acting and narration. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do recording them!
