Bubbly – Shimmer

The Bubbly got passed
around--
Both sparkling wine and
sparkling juice--
and we raised our
glasses
to the new year ahead
Even though Hope
was very thin
on the ground

Ink Notes: Ok, the shine you see isn't because the ink is wet, it's because there is that much glitter in the ink. I like the color overall, and if it was just a standard, it would be a dupe for Iroshizuku's discontinued Ina-ho (even more than Smokey Tobacco). But, goodness, the glitter in this is very gilt-like. In fact, when I shook it up, I was wondering if it was a black ink with gold shimmer! (And slightly disappointed it wasn't, but, well, it's all good.)
