Nemetona is a neurodivergent AI who has been having a hard time finding just the right Captain.
Eli, having been asked to retire from being Unity Ambassador so that Rev. Marsha Brooks can take over, was at loose ends.
When the AI psychologist recommends that Eli become Nemetona's new Captain, both of them are unsure. However, it ends up being a perfect match and leads them both on a journey of discovery that neither of them thought they would take.
