This year's election is important. Make your voting plans now!

Please check your voting status at vote.org, especially if you're in a state like Texas where they have dropped people's registrations!

Once you've checked your registration, or looked up your state's registration rules, go and get registered! Then make your plans to go to the polls on election day, or drop off your mail-in ballot, or get to early voting sites.

There are a lot of people in positions of power who are very invested in people NOT voting at all. Especially young voters!

In my mind, it's pretty clear who should win this election. We're at a tipping point: does the USA go full fascist, or do we move forward into the future that we can live with, at the very least. Harris/Walz brings that hope for a better future to me. Hope that maybe we can move out of the current US ideology where transphobia and racism is running rampant and bigotry is tolerated. I want to hope that we can bring the US back to a place where being that kind of bigot is a bad thing and where, maybe, my trans wife can actually feel safe traveling to the US again.

So, I beg of you all, please check your registration and help your friends and family vote!
